Abstract

Against growing global geopolitical risks, stable industrial and supply chains are vital to China’s high-quality development. Based on 2007–2024 A-share listed firms, this paper investigates data factors’ influence on supply chain resilience and its mechanisms. Data significantly strengthen supply chain resilience by boosting internal control, supply chain finance and operational efficiency; the effect is more evident in private and innovative enterprises. Digital governance support and industrial chain pilot policies amplify this effect. Data improves both pre-crisis risk defense and post-crisis recovery, with greater efficacy in risk prevention. The research supplements relevant theories and provides empirical evidence for digital-driven supply chain security.
